Class Descriptions 

*Gentle Yoga - A restorative and rejuvenating class designed for all levels.  It is a nice complement to more vigorous Vinyasa classes, provides a good foundation for those just beginning a yoga practice.

*Simply Yoga - A Level One class that is a wonderful focus on yoga basics.  This is a perfect class for beginners, those desiring to work on yoga basics, and for those returning to practice after an absence due to illness or injury.

*Vinyasa Yoga - A class in which yoga flows from one pose to another in energizing sequences.

*Bhakti Vinyasa Flow - A physical yoga class emphasizing connection with the Divine.

*Yin Yoga - while the Yang practice of yoga (most of what we practice here in the West) is muscular in nature, Yin Yoga is receptive.  It is practiced with relaxed muscles and held for longer periods, allowing gravity and time to deepen the stretch.  Practicing Yin balances the muscular intensity of a Vinyasa-based practice.

*Yin Hips Yoga - we use Yin principles to release tension from the hips, pelvis, low back, and thighs.  This can create better posture, a relaxed gait, and improved flexibility in the back and hips.

*Healthy Hips - Open and stretch tight hips in this class!

*Simply Slow Flow - A Vinyasa style class focusing on level one postures while using breath work to hold the poses at a slow, mindful pace.  Simply Slow Flow will work on longer transition times from one pose to another.

*Vinyasa Slow Flow - Slow Flow has been designed to bridge the gap between a vinyasa class and a traditional slower moving Hatha yoga class. Slow Flow will work through moderately challenging poses at a slow, mindful pace.
